Wade Martin (WM) is an exceptionally prolific Super Producer, bilingual driven Renaissance man and founder of JWMS Enterprises, the umbrella corporation for JWM Records & WM Studios. Co-owner of IME Records with DMC of Run DMC and Matthew Earl Jones. Business partners with Amar’e Stoudemire and Hypocalypto Records. WM designs his own recording studios, writes and orchestrates the successful business and marketing plans for his endeavors. Owner of the number seven recording studio in the world (www.wmstudios.tv). In addition, teaches some of the best producers and engineers to become even better at what they do.

His success over the past fifteen years lies in his innate ability to appeal to a diverse market from Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, AC to Pop, and his musical merits speak for themselves. He’s one of the first to crack the US Top 40 with a song he sang, wrote, recorded, and produced. Additionally, WM plays and records over twenty different instruments, and has guest judged on American Idol on FOX for three years in a row. WM was born in England; when he was eight, his parents retired to the Canary Islands. It was there that WM learned to speak Spanish fluently. Senior Blass Martinez, a world-renowned South American opera singer recognized WM's talent and spent four years putting him through intense vocal training that helped build his powerful yet controlled five octave range. The developing good looks and constant female attention brought WM media attention as a model. He was able to utilize these opportunities to promote his musical skills by selling tickets to his concerts and thus became recognized as a performer by the European music loving public. WM was able to supply five albums over ten years to the demand he created. All of course recorded at the recording studios he built and designed in Europe, perfecting his craft.

WM was producing himself and other artists from the well-known to the unknown throughout his years as a performer. He's part of an elite group of writers that record all their own instrumentation within their work and is credited for playing over twenty different instruments. In other words, when you hear a WM song, 99 percent of the time he's playing all the instruments and the same can be said for the writing. In addition, WM perfected his ability to arrange, mix, produce and orchestrate, then distribute, promote his work and others. WM was at the forefront of the independent revolution before it even existed. He's proud to have spent his career as an independent artist free from major label control. WM then set his focus on the United States and decided to move there toward the end of the nineties.

WM established himself initially on the east coast of the United States and later identified that he needed to be in Los Angles. Wanting to really experience the country WM bought a motorcycle and a sleeping bag and took route 66 most of the way to his destination where he knew no one. Attitude being that he didn’t need anyone’s help, because it was his belief that talent would be all that would be needed. WM arrived in LA and decided to experience a rougher side of the city by shacking up in Van Nuys. It was here WM started making a more solid segway into just producing, developing bands and artists, taking his focus away from his career as a performer. In addition relationships with major record labels in the US were also beginning to establish. WM spent several years living all over LA, producing, developing countless artists and bands. He also built two recording studios that he very actively used during his time there too.

WM focused his sights on Las Vegas after his time spent in LA and moved there. Bought a home and of course built and designed another recording studio. It was this move that inspired him to re-establish himself as the performer. During this time he produced a record for himself titled ‘How did you know’ that topped the top 40 charts and the performer was reborn. WM became quickly burned out of the life style of an artist and began to miss producing other artists. After four years or so of living in Vegas WM moved to Phoenix Arizona where he developed strong relationships with people, Sha Money XL (founder of G-Unit) and Amar’e Stoudemire (NBA star for the Suns). WM had always built and designed state-of-the-art recording studios to facilitate his needs from state to state. Living in his new home in Phoenix, with his wife, he decided to build the studio to beat all studios. His newest recording Phoenix studio, “WM Studios,” has already developed a worldwide reputation as more than just another studio. Built and designed from the ground up by WM himself, WM Studios currently ranks as one of the best studios in the world. The Vocal Booth and Live Room feature wall touch screens so artists may operate Pro Tools remotely or just interface with their lyrics, and also hosts the worlds FIRST ever complete touch screen console designed by WM himself.

Today Wade Martin is developing and producing artist like Katy Cappella, DMX, Nas, Flava Flav and Juice. Working closely with T.I’s record label ‘Grand Hustle’ and Hypocalypto, WM’s label ‘JWM Records’ is the essentially the development arm.

WM has been conquering the entertainment business for over fifteen years and shows no signs of slowing down or failing, as people marvel at a man who’s a master in practically every facet of the industry.
